Arrived on site and checked in with customer to gain access to equipment, customer stated that upstairs is always warmer they tried closing some dampers but seemed the same, upon inspection found most of the first floor dampers closed, 2 basement dampers were opened, closed basement dampers and adjusted fan speed by increasing the fan speed and recommended just running fan to help circulate and help even out temperatures

customer stated that system didn't seem to be cooling properly, filter was just replaced, made call for cooling from thermostat system started indoor fan came on, went out to check condenser and found compressor running but fan was not spinning, spun by hand and the fan started operating, checked capacitor and was reading 0 mfd on fan side, replaced with new 60/5 dual capacitor and cycled system compressor and fan started properly checked amps checked pressures and temperatures all within manufacture specifications. System is operating properly at this time.
