Spring Maintenance Checklist
- Check refrigerant operating pressures
- Check voltage and amperage to condenser motor
- Check temperature drop across evaporator coil
- Check system sub-cooling
- Lubricate motor (when applicable)
- Change furnace filter
- Check contactor operation and contacts
- Check capacitor capacity
- Check high and low pressure cut off switches
- Check and clean condensate drain
- Clean condenser coil
- Check wiring connections
- Oil and lubricate all motors and bearings per manufacturer recommendations (when applicable)
Fall Maintenance Checklist
- Check inducer and blower motor voltage and amperage
- Lubricate motors (when applicable)
- Check safety switch operation
- Check inlet and outlet gas pressure adjust as necessary
- Clean and check flame sensor
- Check transformer voltage
- Inspect igniter
- Inspect flue pipe system
- Clean and inspect heat exchanger
- Clean and check burner assembly
- Change furnace filter
- Check thermostat operation
- Check temperature rise across furnace
- Check for gas leaks inside of furnace
